Information leakage of printed documents can be restrained

Even if document management is efficient, once the papers are copied and removed from the managed environment, securing the information contained within is virtually impossible. With Fuji Xerox ApeosWare Copy Protection, you can easily place security measures on paper documents on demand.

Reduce information leakage

Hidden text. By installing ApeosWare Copy Protection on your PC, you can embed Hidden text in your documents to protect the information when it is printed or copied. When unauthorized documents are printed, the embedded text will be embossed. An additional benefit for companies that need to maintain originality of a document is that a marked distinction is produced between the original and copied document. Hidden text can also be embedded as a background or footer to a document and the printed color appearance controlled.

Strengthen security with the integration of digital multifunction devices

In addition to conventional hidden text that are visible, digital information that is invisible can also be embedded in documents. There are two types of digital information: Copy Protection Code and Digital Code. Copy Protection Code. Documents detected cannot be copied, scanned or faxed.

Digital Code. The time to print out a document and MAC addresses can be embedded in a document as information that cannot be seen visually. The digital code can be analyzed or reproduced by an optional software, ApeosWare Secure Watermark Analyzer to identify what time the document was outputted and from which PC.

Flexible hidden text set-ups

Embossed effect. The way hidden text is presented when printed can be varied by selecting either “Hidden Text will be embossed” or “text strings can be printed in white letters on a colored background”.

Presentation of text. The degree of slanting of text, type of font and font size can be specified.

Sequence numbers. The sequence number of documents can be printed out automatically as hidden text.

Distribution list. Based on the information in a previously created distribution list, documents in which individual hidden text such as names are embedded, according to destination for distribution, can be printed easily in one instruction. This is effective when you need to specify the destination for distribution of materials for a meeting.
