Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited (BAFS) was established in 1983 according to the Cabinet’s approval to engage in the aviation fuel service, storage and aviation refueling business at Bangkok International Airport (Don Mueang). To support its growing aviation refueling services, BAFS strong shareholder structure comprises of major companies such as Thai Airways International Plc, Airport of Thailand Plc, PTT Plc, Chevron ( Thailand) Limited, Esso Thailand Plc, Shell Thailand Co., ltd., Air Total (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and BP Oil (Thailand) Limited, Singapore Petroluem (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. and Petronas Retial (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.

Since our company has been established for aged and expanded its branches to local provinces, the problem which comes after our progress is the poor document management. Some of important document was lost because we don’t have the system to store up a pile of paper. The very complicated problem pushed our executives to looking for new system should pave the way for our company to become “Paperless Organization”. And serve our need for transaction between Suvarnnabhumi and Don Mueang Airport in the future. However, this change may turn to be a big deal for employee because they have to adapt new system to their working process so the knowledge & comprehension of new system was strongly encouraged to them.

For our long-term investment, we selected Fuji Xerox’s Documentum system because the system can maximize our utility, provide document losing prevention system, be able to deal with a pile of document between Don Mueang and Suvarnnabhumi station. Because Fuji Xerox (Thailand) was recognized as the well-known company in high quality product and services, are we pleased and trust to work with the company. It is not only long-term investment that we are concerned about, but also the system implementation & development that are needed. Fortunately, we found that Fuji Xerox can serve all of our need and meet regulatory compliance and applications. Moreover, Fuji Xerox staffs have adaptable skill, highly commitment and always learn new things to understand our working processes. If counting on how much paper we spent, tonner cartridges and messenger cost are significantly reduced. Our staffs are satisfied to this easier and more convenient on working process.

Our next plan in near future is studying the interconnection between Documentum and other software such as CRM, Fuel Inventory and Accounting to provide added value and utility maximization to our working processes.
